EDUCATION
We offer several classes to help our seniors keep their minds and bodies active. Classes are scheduled based on demand. Call our registrar, Rhonda Jeffries, to schedule at 304-472-0528.
Computer Classes:
Beginning Computer Smarts for Seniors - Computer literacy and basics such as Windows,email, IM, files & web surfing.
Advanced Computer Smarts for Seniors - Teaches more advanced Windows usage and maintenance.
Photography Classes:
Basic Digital Photography - Learning about your camera and how to take good pictures.
Advanced Digital Photography - More technical photography information offered and some digital darkroom work.
Photoshop Elements - Learn the organizer, quick edit and full edit modes to do complex digital darkroom tasks.
Painting Classes:
Meet in the Blue Room on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The class displays their work at the Strawberry Festival each year.
Line Dancing Classes:
Meet Friday morning in the Blue Room to learn new steps and practice the old. The class does demonstrations for the senior center at various functions.
Exercise Classes:
Held in the Senior Center Blue Room on Monday and Wednesday between 9-10am.
RECREATION
Billiards (pool), Puzzles, Dominoes, Checkers, Exercise, Quilting, Widescreen TV, Electronic Piano, Horseshoes, etc.
